Stunner

I was watching the rugby league world Finals yesterday when the Roos were leading the Kiwis 8-0. Then a kiwi made a pretty bad blunder on his side of the field, he couldnt catch an 'easy' ball which anyone could have caught it, what's worse is to make such blunder in the FINALS, then i noticed it... his team mates came towards him and patted on his back and encouraged him and kept assuring him that it's okay and dun worry bout the flop, they were really so encouraging! right there and then, the first thing that came to my mind was, the Kiwis are gonna win the Finals with team mates like that. also he didnt make anymore of those mistakes for the rest of the game. True enough, they went on to win it and stunned the Roos 34-20! i was thinking.. man that's HUGE!!


i have always adapted that method or approach in helping people as i've also learned from world renowned leadership experts such as Peter Drucker, Max Depree and John Maxwell just to name a few, but some disagree or worse still when you've encouraged em, the same ppl turn against u and say ur 'method' is not appropriate and don't appreciate ur encouragements, yea and i got a stunner too. in fact i've been on the receiving end of lots of stunners!u suddenly get hit and wonder what on earth did u do to deserve such treatments. not cool. Anyways I thought the Roos had better play and attacking strategy throughout the game and it was a real stunner that they lost! sorry for ya'll at Aussie land, i'm know ya'll disappointed but i'm sure the Roos be back to whoop ass next match! =)

Final Race for 2008?

Powerman 2008

I think this should be my last race for 2008, my body is feeling the stress already, races i've done this year includes KRI 16km run, Melaka A Famosa International Triathlon,160km Century Ride, Port Dickson International Triathlon, Aviva Singapore Ironman 70.3 (1.9km swim 90.1km bike 21.1km run) and Powerman 2008 (11km run 64km bike 10km run)

To have a successful race one important ingredient is SUFFICIENT SLEEP! As for me i had NO sleep at all the whole nite before Powerman, my roomate uncle PK (a damn fast marathon runner mind you) can testify to that coz both of us were tossing and turning the whole nite!hence our results show similarity

NO SLEEP = RECIPE FOR DISASTER!!
I just thank God for strength to finish the race! i had tummy cramp right frm the first 11km run, cramps in my calves during the bike and my knee n ankles were hurting so badly during the last 10km run i had to walk most of the way
