Century Ride 2008 Pics

When i reached there on the morning of the ride the min i got out frm my car i heard Mr. Chong announce, the race will start in 8mins! as u can see in the first pic everyone (almost) was already gathering at the start line while i was happily enjoying my McD breakfast meal at the 24hr McD n still half asleep. i was still gulping down my must-have-b4-everyrace-drink nescafe mocha when i parked my car n got down and when i heard the announcement, i didnt have time to finish it! arghh! if i downed my mocha i would have finished the race half an hour ealier =P yea right hahah then i heard him announcing those who haven't checked in bikes yet pls go to the 100plus tent to check-in, so i went there and..

race volunteer: where's your race number?
me: what race number? (starting to get worried)
rv: your race number when u collected ur goodie bag?
me: goodie bag?? umm can i collect it now? hehe
(announcer on loud speaker: race will start in 5mins!)
me: (shite)
another race volunteer nearby: no race number, no sticker! you can't give him sticker!
me: any ideas where i can collect my goodie bag?
rv: i dunno wor everyone collect yesterday di
other rv: u can try go to the tents there
i sprinted to the tents at MK 'base' n got my goodie bag with my number inside the office! whew! yep i started right at the back of everyone when the race started off!

Century Ride 2008
This was my first ever Century Ride, completed in a time of 6hrs 21mins 07s
I think the organisers did a fantastic job organising this!! it was an awesome ride! was a tough ride (wish i could show u pics of the slopes! its really scary). next year i be back! goal - sub 6hrs! hehehee ok la no harm dreaming right =P you can click on the pics to see it fullsized

there's this few riders who are grp of friends i believe, i call them team csc coz they all have full csc attire and bikes hehee. everyone who registers for the Century RIde also gets a very nice and free cycling jersey, you can see the guy right in front of me in the green jersey

at the end of the race, one of the main sponsors- Herbalife provided free drinks and some of them were doin sum 'test' to promote their products, i had to answer a few questions and they needed to take my weight reading, the lady said i was overweight (wat went on in my head=!!?!!?...!!?!!?) i wouldnt show u my weight since i'm overweight but then the reading was too good not to post it! hahaha number 7 is a perfect number,the lady saw and said wah so nice one the number hahah i should have told her i'm not overweight but i have perfect weight!!

Sarawak

i was in Sarawak few weeks ago for Julian's wedding, and here's sum sarawak food, sorry Julian i know you'll see this but... the food really wasnt that great hehehehhe but the food in your house were 10x much yummier!!!
